Welcome to, “The Accidental Prepper” a much more unique website. There are 2 things that make this site unique.
First: I'm here to show you the way prepping can and will enhance your overall well-being, improve your ability to adapt to changing circumstances, and empower you to face challenges with confidence and practical solutions. “The Accidental Prepper” September of 2003, someone accused me of being a Prepper. I didn't even know what a Prepper was. They had come to the conclusion because we went over 8 weeks without electricity as if it were no big deal due to hurricane Isabel. But because of all my camping gear and well stocked pantry a neighbor just assumed I was a Prepper. I began studying this subject and what prepping was all about and catching the bug to be prepared in case SHTF. I mean, we had just gone through 8 weeks without electricity with no problem at all and this was including not having any type of generator.
Second: To add to the ambience of the site I also share my experiences on how my dreams and out-of-body experiences have influenced my mindset and decision-making when it comes to being prepared. My dreams offer valuable insights into my subconscious thoughts and emotions, and by paying attention to them and reflecting on their symbolism, I have gained a deeper understanding of myself and the answers I sought. I share specific examples of how these experiences have shaped my beliefs, values, and actions in preparing for everyday life, potential emergencies or crises.
One of these times I had to figure out how I was going to get back home if something happened while at work and I could not drive back. Walking wasn't an option due to the fact that here in Hampton Roads, Virginia, you can not get from point “A” to point “B” without crossing a river. You are either going over it or under it along with tens of thousands of people throughout the day. It was one of these dreams that gave me the answer.
